New England Local Area

The New England region is well renowned as being one of the top super fine wool growing areas of Australia and is ideally suited to Alpaca farming, with most of the area being located on the Northern Tablelands and the remaining locations on the North West Slopes and Plains. The alpacas thrive in this area and many growers produce high quality fleece.
The properties range from small lifestyle blocks to larger grazing properties to broad acre farms.
The New England breeder network is a very co-operative,supportive and has an active social group, members are always willing to offer any advice needed.
